Description of a metal sorting robot arm

You need a minicomputer called Raspberry Pi – people all over the world use it because it is so cheap. You also get used ones for less than 20 €

You also need an old screen and a keyboard – you can take stuff from the rubbish dump - it just has to work

You need two small servo motors and some small cables to connect your RasPi with the motors

Fix motor one on a wooden plate and fix the second one above it – so you can turn left and right and go up and down

Now fix an aluminum arm on the top motor – we used glue and two small screws

Install an electromagnet at the end of the arm – you find tutorials how to build it on the internet

Energize the electro magnet by connecting + and - >> again you find many tutorials on the internet
